No. The Bics are very simple and see. After a week of using them I had no problems moving on to something more “manly”.

I’m 65 1/2 and I’ve been shaving with a blade for the last 20 years. Before that I was an electric razor man.

The reason I switched to a blade was quite accidental. I was out of town on a business trip. Because it was called suddenly I packed in a hurry and forgot to pack my Norelco, so I went to the closest drug store with the intent of buying another electric razor. But when I got there I couldn’t find one cheap enough that I felt was good enough, so I went very down-market and picked up a bag of Bic disposable razors and an 80 cent can of Barbasol. When I got back home I picked up a Gillette razor set (at that time with just three blades) and started using it. Now, as I’ve gotten older, it seems like I’m slowly heading back towards nothing but electric, except I can’t find a decent electric that shaves cleanly and closely enough to my satisfaction.

First world problems.
