It has been a while since the last Animal Day Journal. Today’s journal entry is about cats. The top photo is of Beauregard looking at me while I’m eating my desert of cut-up strawberries with a little whipped cream. He wants to lick some of the whipped cream but I won’t let him because he’s always thrown up in the past when I have let him have a bit. No thanks, I’m not in the mood to clean up cat puke, especially during desert.

I caught Nicholas napping in his favorite chair with his favorite toy, which I think used to be a blue mousey that would rattle when he would bat it around on the floor. He still likes to carry it around in his mouth and up to where he will take one of his frequent naps.

It’s been a long dry spell with regards to writing and posting. I have a few things I want to write about, and there may be a very quick flurry of blog entries over the next few days, but whether this signifies an end to the dry spell I can’t say.
